Supporting Children
Welcome to our team
At Burton End Primary Academy, we know that in order to learn, our children need to feel safe, secure and happy. Our pastoral team is led by Mrs Mace and Miss Holt and our two ELSAs (Emotional Literacy Support Assistants) Mrs Lumm and Mrs Talbot
The ELSA team runs individual and group sessions with the children and covers topics such a bereavement, self esteem and family issues.
Our Rooms
Beach Room
The Beach room is used to support our most vulnerable children who have experienced more severe trauma or need more in depth support in the afternoons. It is used in the mornings for completing various assessments, meeting with parents, parenting sessions and courses.
Rockpool
The Rockpool is for supporting children who need to pop in for a short while and for ELSA sessions.
