About Our House System

Our house system is an important part of school life

Each child is allocated a house team that they represented. Our house teams are named after the worlds oceans to give a global theme and awareness for the children:

Children are rewarded for good behaviour choices and excellent work through awarding ‘Ocean Points’. If they are awarded an ‘Ocean Point’ they are given a coloured counter to add to their class ocean point totaliser. Each week these tokens are counted. A whole school totaliser in the school hall is used to show the total number of Ocean Points for each house on a weekly basis.

Each term the house team with the highest total of ocean points has their ‘house flag’ flown outside of the front of the school on our school flag pole.
