Fancy Dress Disco

On Friday 17th October the children of Burton End School transformed into an array of characters including; witches, clowns and werewolves. Mrs Brading had the difficult decision of picking the best dressed children.

Inter Schools Cross Country

On Thursday 16th October, children from Year 5 and 6 took part in an inter-schools Cross Country event at Castle Manor Academy. All 32 of our students set off at a good pace, leaving several other schools trailing behind. Despite muddy conditions and stiff competition, the children ran really well and all made it round to the finish line a mile later. Particular highlights included

Year 5 Share

On Thursday 16th October, Year 5 had their SHARE in the main hall. There were loads of people!

We had four different stations to go to. These were: Dirty Water, Alien Soup, Sorting and Colloids.

On Wednesday 1st October, Year 3 were fortunate enough to have a visit from one of our parents, Mr Baker, who is a lecturer at West Suffolk College. He brought in wind turbines and we found out how wind power creates electricity.

Dear Parents and Carers

Every Monday we have a whole school assembly where we spend time talking to the children about our Edison Core Values. There are eight altogether; respect, integrity, hope, compassion, wisdom, justice, responsibility and courage.
