We are very excited to be joining up with Mental Health in Schools Support Team service. This is a brand new service, that we are very excited to be able work with. The team provide support for families and parents to support their children with mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
Our Mental Health Support Team:
Nina Bradley – Clinical Team Manager
Jenny Dunn – Education Mental Health Practitioner
Tara Duke – Senior Education Mental Health Practitioner
Sarah Neville – Psychological Therapist.
We will have Jenny Dunn working at Burton End on a regular basis. At primary age, practitioners work mostly with families to support children with these difficulties. The Mental Health Practitioner will also be working across schools in Haverhill, including our local Secondary school. We hope that this will help to further support children in Year 6 as they transition to upper school.
We have regular meetings to discuss potential families to support. Please do get in touch with us to discuss concerns you may have around your child, which we can then present to the team. There may be some circumstances where support may be best provided by other services, which the team can support with referring you.
Please see the attached documents for further information, or contact Mrs Frost for any questions or queries.
